Connected services
QuickBooks Online integration
When a Prospera application connects to QuickBooks Online, it uses Intuit’s OAuth authorization process. The customer decides whether to connect and can revoke that access at any time.
What the connection can support
Depending on the written scope and permissions granted, a Prospera workflow may read or prepare customers, vendors, accounts, invoices, bills, expenses, payments, deposits, attachments, and related reporting data. Prospera requests only the QuickBooks permission scopes the application needs and limits its use of the data to the agreed workflow.
How authorization works
Prospera does not request or store your QuickBooks password. An authorized QuickBooks administrator signs in directly with Intuit, reviews the requested connection, and grants access through OAuth.
Human review and accounting responsibility
Automation can reduce manual handling, but the customer remains responsible for approving its accounting policies, reviewing material transactions and reports, maintaining appropriate internal controls, and obtaining tax, audit, or legal advice when required.
Disconnecting
You may disconnect the application through QuickBooks Online or request disconnection through Prospera support. Prospera will stop future API access after revocation is received and will handle retained records under the privacy notice and applicable service agreement.
